Quincy Jones Not Happy About Michael Jackson "Xscape" Album

Quincy Jones, who worked with the late Michael Jackson, was against the decision of Epic Records to release a new album of previously unheard material from the King of Pop's vaults. Songs and pieces of music were contemporized by current producers and packaged as Xscape.
Jones was not involved in the making of the posthumous album, which had approval and support from Jackson's estate.
Jones, father of actress Rashida Jones, felt the album was a venture rooted in greed more so than artistic integrity.
"Xscape... They're trying to make money and I understand it. But it's about the money. The estate, the lawyers, you know – it's about money." Jones said the release bothered him but that it was no longer his business.
What do you think of the Xscape release? Do you dig it or do you share Jones' opinion?
