R.E.M. fans are in for a REAL treat. The band has shared a massive treasure trove of digital music that features 131 B-sides, live tracks and non-album cuts from the band's Warner Bros. Records era.

The Complete Rarities: Warner Bros: 1988-2011 set [iTunes link] includes live and studio covers; a performance of "Bang and Blame" on Saturday Night Live; alternate mixes; non-album tracks ("Fretless," "Arms of Love"); instrumental versions ("Orange Crush"); soundchecks and more.

Additionally, the now-defunct band's full catalog was digitally reissued in the "Mastered for iTunes" format, including their debut EP Chronic Town, which never saw a standalone release.

So yeah, dive right in, fans of Michael Stipe and co.
