    R. Kelly has written a new song called "Rise Up" in an effort to heal those affected by the Virginia Tech shootings. The single will be available digitally on May 15th, with all of the proceeds going to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund, a charity created for the families of the 32 victims.

Kelly's inspirational lyrics include the sentiment, "Rise up, when you feel you can't go on, rise up, and all of your hope is gone, rise up, when you're weak and you can't be strong."
