A true entertainment legend, "Macho Man" Randy Savage made his World Wrestling Federation (WWF) debut in 1985. He was certainly one of my favorite wrestlers, so much so that I had two Macho Man shirts: one as a child, one as an adult.

RMMS's love of entertainment and music, and the desire to express himself through a different medium, prompted his foray into the music world with the 2003 release of his rap album titled Be a Man. Rappin' Randy, yo!

Be a Man came together after "Macho Man" Randy Savage met Big3 Entertainment's CEO Bill Edwards. Bill Edwards invited "Macho Man" Randy Savage to tour his recording studio, Big3 Studios, and met with his in-house producers. Continuing the use of his wrestling kayfabe, personality and storylines, the album was produced by the production team "Da Raskulls" (Ted Howard, Jerome Jefferson, Khalid Keene and Brian Overton). The 14-track album features guest artist's DJ Kool Herc, AJA & Prymary Colorz. In addition to the heavy hip-hop beats on the album, "Macho Man" Randy Savage also raps over rock influenced beats, his personal favorite genre of music.

The stand out title track, "Be a Man," is a diss-track to long time wrestling rival, Hulk Hogan, which was co-written by Macho Man. "Perfect Friend" (featuring Prymary Colorz) a hip-hop/R&B-esque tribute track to fellow wrestler, Curt Hennig. Not all of the 14 tracks are heavily related to his extensive wrestling career. This fun, novelty album includes some tracks that are more devoted to hip-hop and life, such as "Macho Thang" (featuring AJA), the club track "Hit The Floor," (featuring DJ Kool) and the rock anthem, "Feel The Madness."

With the passing of this entertainment legend, Big3 Entertainment felt his family, friends and fans needed to remember all the happiness, the charisma and fun, loving personality that Macho Man brought to us all. His personality shines through this unique novelty album. Be a Man, the album from a one-of-a-kind man who loved to entertain his fans with his grandiose, sincere personality.
