The third season of the innovative music series Live From the Artists Den has launched on public television; on April 8th, a new episode will premiere featuring Grammy winner Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs. Live From the Artists Den show airs nationally on public television. Check local listings or www.artistsden.com.
The historic Don Strange Ranch in Boerne, Texas provided a fitting setting for troubadour Ray LaMontagne and his band, the Pariah Dogs. Culminating the tour celebrating their latest album, God Willin' & the Creek Don't Rise, the group performed in the ranch's beautiful Kendall Creek Barn before a crowd of four hundred fans who came from all corners of the country to attend.
"I was really pleased when we walked in," said Ray LaMontagne of his Artists Den venue. "I think everybody felt like it would be a special place to make some music."
The band heads out on the road again for a nationwide summer tour beginning May 25th in Waterbury, CT.
Live From the Artists Den is an Emmy-nominated show connecting music fans with an incredible, curated line up of icons and rising stars performing in unique and intimate venues. The exciting new season also features Robert Plant, Elvis Costello, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Squeeze, Daniel Merriweather, A Fine Frenzy, and Lisa Hannigan. A Public Television Rocks! presentation, the series is a co-production of Artists Den Entertainment and WLIW21 in association with WNET New York Public Media and distributed by American Public Television.
