Ray LaMontagne to Tour This Fall
Fri, 07 Sep 2012 14:11:06
Ray LaMontagne is set to tour 10 cities across the U.S. this fall. It's short, sweet and satisfying.
The acoustic tour will begin on November 16 in Washington DC and end on December 3 in Columbus, Ohio with one of the stops being at New York City's historic Carnegie Hall. Tickets will be available for sale starting September 7 in select cities.
Ray will also play at "Love for Levon" a benefit celebrating the life and music of Levon Helm. The benefit will be held on October 3 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. All net proceeds from the concert will help support the lasting legacy of Levon Helm by helping his estate keep ownership of his home, barn and studio, and to continue The Midnight Ramble Sessions.
More recently Ray teamed up with Dana Bourgeois to release a limited edition Bourgeois guitar called The Ray LaMontagne Limited Edition Signature Series. Being a huge fan of Bourgeois guitars himself it was a natural fit to join forces and create a guitar built for touring. There are only 33 Ray LaMontagne Signature Series guitars signed by both Dana Bourgeois and Ray on the label inside of the guitar. For more information please visit www.pantheonguitars.com.
