So, what are the ingredients that make RDGLDGRN so goddamn smooth?

Well, take a Bad Brains style fusion of punk and reggae, elegant Beatles-esque melodies, and a whole lot of funked-out twenty-second century swag, and you get their self-titled debut EP. All of the comparisons in the world really couldn't do the D.C. trio justice at all though. They're distinctly their own intoxicating brew. Whether it's the Anchorman-checking sunny rock 'n' roll of "I Love Lamp" or the effusively bright soul of "Doing the Most", all boundaries are effectively exterminated. "Million Fans" is a future hip-hop at its finest nodding to Rage Against the Machine and OutKast. Everything comes to a head on the punk-y surf stomp of "Hey O" that's indelibly infectious.

The future is look very bright with RDGLDGRN leading the way.
