Good luck to the Chili Peppers, The Cure and more!

Congrats are in order for Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cure, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, all of which are first time nominees to be inducted into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! This would be for the class of 2011!

The bands join a list that includes previous nominees Guns N' Roses, Beastie Boys, and Laura Nyro, who are also among the 15 finalists for this massive honor. GN' R, the Beasties and Nyro were all nominated before, but did not make it in!

The Faces, The Spinners and Chaka Khan's band Rufus received their first nominations, too.

Music industry experts will weigh in next and cast their votes to decide who should be inducted during the ceremony, with the top five set to be announced in January.

To be eligible for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, acts must have released their first songs at least 25 years ago.

Which of these acts would you vote for?
