Richie Sambora Says Solo Album is "Authentic"

Richie Sambora's new solo album, Aftermath of the Lowdown, is available digitally. The Bon Jovi guitarist and native New Jerseyite spoke to VH1 Classic Radio about the record, revealing his inspiration and source material.
"I'm really, really proud of this record," he said. "I found that there's a lot of authenticity here. I wanted to make a record that was kind of about some of the stuff that I went through in the last seven years but ultimately it ends up being everybody's stuff. I've always been good at that throughout the years, I've been writing songs that have something to do with the way I'm feeling and it seems to universally somehow transform and become everybody's song and I think there are a lot of these songs on the record."
So there has to be some inspiration provided by ex-wife, the lovely Heather Locklear, it'd seem.
Will you check out Aftermath of the Lowdown?
