Many conservative groups are up in arms over Rihanna's new video for her reggae-influenced single, "Man Down," which depicts RiRi as a woman wronged who takes matters into her own hands and enacts vigilante justice on a man who has sexually assaulted her. RiRi shoots the perpetrator in the clip, which has people in an uproar.
Some group are calling for the video to be banned. Here is what the Barbados-born pop star had to say about the clip: "We just wanted to hone in on a very serious matter that people are afraid to address, especially if you've been victimized in this scenario."
What do you think of the video for "Man Down?" Much ado about nothing? Artistic expression gone wrong? You may not agree with she says (or implies) but you support her right to say (or imply) it?
