Pop star Rihanna doesn't have kids yet and is in no rush to pop one out, but the singer did reveal in the December issue of Interview that she plans to raise her children with two parents and not as a single mom.

Rihanna's comments instantly remind me of conservative pundit Bill O'Reilly, who attacked Jennifer Aniston last summer when she went on record while promoting her romantic comedy, The Switch, which was a flop, saying that a single mom is capable of raising a happy, healthy and well-adjusted child. O'Reilly accused the actress of pretty much taking down the nuclear family with her statements! So he is probably thrilled at RiRi's comments.

"I definitely think a child deserves both parents," Rihanna said in the mag. "It would be selfish of me, because of my pride and independence to say, 'Oh, I just want a sperm donor, because I can do it myself.' I can do it myself, but that's not fair."

RiRi is dating Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp and made it clear that she is not hearing the deafening tick of her biological clock. "I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids. Whenever the time is right, I'll just know. I don't really plan on the age. It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now. Whenever is right," she said.

What do you think of Rihanna's statements?
