Ringo Starr's Early Infancy Home Spared

An early childhood home of former Beatle Ringo Starr, which is located in Liverpool, has been spared from the wrecking ball. The Telegraph reports that the run-down, three-bedroom abode was scheduled to be demolished but he has been granted a stay of execution.
Beatles fans and locals lobbied to save the home since Starr resided there for three months as an infant. Even so, the National Trust of England did not feel the house merited saving because the drummer only resided in the dwelling for such a short period of time. Hmmm, they do have a point there.
Still, the Liverpool City Council voted to keep the structure in tact. And there you have it.
What do you think of this ruling?
