Rob Thomas doesn't want to be lonely no more, so he is going out on tour…for a few shows. That's right. Multiple Grammy winning Emblem/Atlantic recording artist Rob Thomas has announced plans for a series of intimate shows to benefit Sidewalk Angels Foundation, the non-profit organization founded by Rob and his wife Marisol.
Thomas will return to Uncasville, CT’s Mohegan Sun on Dec. 30 and Atlantic City’s Borgata Casino Jan. 6 and 7, 2012. These shows offer a rare and exciting opportunity to catch the superstar performing in a more up close and personal setting than usual, playing a career-spanning set. "It's a chance for me, as a songwriter, to really highlight lyric and melody and to create different versions of songs that I've been playing for years," said Thomas.
Tickets for these shows go on sale beginning this Saturday, Nov. 5. For details and ticket information, please visit here.
In other news, Rob Thomas and his Matchbox Twenty bandmates are currently in the studio working on a new studio album set for release in 2012! I wish the real world would just stop hassling me. Name the tune!
