Twilight's Edward to play another lovelorn character

    Robert Pattinson Ready for Memoirs

Robert Pattinson set many hearts aflutter with his portrayal of broody vampire Edward in Twilight. The actor is set to play yet another star-crossed lover in Memoirs, a film for Summit Entertainment, which also released Twilight.

The project is based on an original screenplay which is expected to be rewritten by Rachel Getting Married scribe Jenny Lumet. It features two lovers whose new relationship is threatened by tragedies that affect their families. Allen Coulter, who directed Hollywoodland and episodes of The Sorpanos, is loosely attached to direct this project.

Also, the "wolf pack" that Twilight heroine Bella spends time with in the sequel New Moon has been cast. All the actors, including Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon, and Tyson Houseman, are of Native American descent, hailing from several different nations, like the Lakota (Sioux), Cree-Metis, and Cree, respectively. They join Taylor Lautner's Jacob as the story's wolves.
