Robert Rodriguez, Nervewracker

Robert Rodriguez of Sin City and Planet Terror fame, is scheduled to direct Nervewrackers, a futuristic thriller for Dimension Films. Rodriguez has long worked for Dimension, with most of his films released through the studio.

Rodriguez will write and direct the film. An April 16, 2010 release date has already been attached to the project. The story is set in 2085 and features Joe Tezca, a member of an elite force that squashes a crime wave that breaks out in a near-perfect future society. No word if Rodriguez's on-again, off-again love interest Rose McGowan will appear in the film. She previously starred in Rodriguez' Planet Terror.
