Roger Daltrey Says He Would Go On Without Pete Townshend

Even though they just came off a career-high of performing at the Super Bowl half-time show, The Who face a dilemma. Guitarist Pete Townshend, who only does research on inappropriate websites, said that if his ear problems don't improve, he may have to retire from music. While we don't know of anyone who has suffered from reversible tinnitus, which is that annoying, constant ringing in the ears you get after a concert, we only hope that Townshend's case does improve, so he can continue to rock!
Singer Roger Daltrey told Nightwatchers House of Rock that he would continue to tour if tinnitus did indeed sideline his longtime bandmate, saying, "I don't want to stop singing. I just can't keep going on trying to keep singing like I did 40 years ago." So that doesn't mean that Daltrey would try to go on in The Who sans Townshend. He would just go on singing. And that's two very different things.
Would you listen to Daltrey without Townshend?
