Got some cash you want to plunk down for a one-of-a-kind experience and to help a good cause? Well you can, since legendary Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters is auctioning the ultimate experience at his iconic stage production of The Wall.
Roger Waters, the co-founder and principal songwriter of the archetypal progressive band Pink Floyd, is bringing his historic production of "The Wall" to Yankee Stadium on July 7. His aural and visual masterpiece of alienation and transformation will be performed in-its-entirety featuring a full band and state-of-the-art production, and two lucky fans will have a VIP view.
For the ultimate Wall experience, Waters is auctioning off the chance for one winning bidder and a guest to meet him backstage at the iconic Yankee Stadium, in addition to enjoying incredible premiere seats for the performance.
Bidding is open through Wednesday, June 27, at online charity auction house Charitybuzz, at this location.
Proceeds of the experience, valued at $6000, will benefit LifeBEAT. LifeBEAT is a national non-profit organization dedicated to reaching America's youth with the message of HIV/AIDS prevention. Lifebeat mobilizes the talents and resources of the music industry to raise awareness and to provide support to the HIV/AIDS community.
