The Rolling Stones are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year, but they are not furthering the festivities by playing at this year's Summer Olympics in their native England simply because they have been dormant in the live arena for a while and simply are not ready.

About the London Games, Mick Jagger told ITN, "We haven't played in a long time and we weren't really stage ready and it's a very big gig and it's very risk-taking. I didn't think the band themselves felt they were really ready to do it at this point…We hope we're going to do some gigs this year. We haven't actually finalized them, but we hope we're going to do some gigs."

Do you wish the Stones would play the games in London?
