Rosanne Cash to Be Honored With "Smithsonian Magazine" Award

Rosanne Cash, eldest daughter of music legend Johnny Cash, will receive the Performing Arts award presented by legendary musician, producer and famed guitarist T Bone Burnett. The nine other Ingenuity Award recipients will be announced at the awards ceremony and featured in the November issue of Smithsonian Magazine.
Cash will be feted at the third annual "Smithsonian Magazine American Ingenuity Awards," an invitation-only gala event celebrating 10 groundbreaking individuals in the arts, science, social progress, scholarship and technology.
The event is set for Thursday, October 16, and will be held at The National Portrait Gallery: Eighth and F streets NW, Washington, D.C.
