CartRupert Grint to Star in CBGB Movie

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint will star in CBGB, the upcoming film about the legendary New York venue located in the Bowery. He is reunited with his former Potter franchise co-star Alan Rickman in the project.
Grint will play Cheetah Chrome, the guitarist for Dead Boys, a punk band who was involved in the club's rise as a premiere music venue. Malin Akerman will play Blondie singer Debbie Harry, while Rickman has signed on to play club owner Hilly Kristal.
Shooting begins next month.
