    SAG Nominations Announced

    The nominations for the SAG Awards have been announced, with most of the categories falling in line with last week's Golden Globe noms.

    Doubt raked in five nominations, including an Outstanding Female Lead nomination for Meryl Streep, Outstanding Supporting Male nod for Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Outstanding Supporting Female nod for both Viola Davis and Amy Adams. The drama, about a nun and a priest who lock horns over tradition and doubt, also received a nomination in the Motion Picture Ensemble category.

    Other notable nominations include Kate Winslet as Outstanding Supporting Female in The Reader and Outstanding Female Lead in Revolutionary Road. Josh Brolin was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Male in Milk, rather than his lead role in W..

    James Earl Jones was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Richard Jenkins received an Outstanding Male Lead nomination for The Visitor, alongside Brad Pitt for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Sean Penn for Milk.
