Famed director Sam Raimi and his Ghost House Pictures banner will yet again remake foreign horror flicks. Raimi will produce, but not direct, two separate remakes. The first is Anguish, a movie-within-a-movie thriller from Spain about two girls who end up in a horror movie while watching one. The original was released in 1988. The second redo is Room 205, a supernatural thriller based in Denmark, which came out last year. That film features a college freshman whose dorm is haunted by sinister ghostly forces.
Ghost House has enjoyed much success by remaking foreign horror flicks. 2004's The Grudge, which was a remake of a Japanese film, was a box office hit and even generated a sequel.
