America's sweetheart Sandra Bullock made her first public appearance at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, when she was presented with the Generation Award. It was her first appearance at an event since the Oscars on March 7, which was immediately followed by the cheating scandal that spelled the end of her marriage to Jesse James, who she thanked profusely in every one of her awards season speeches.
"I'm staying. Because no matter what you might have seen or heard or read lately, I love what I do. And I'm not going anywhere," Bullock, 45, said in her hilarious acceptance speech. I must say, I love celebrities, especially A-listers, who don't take themselves too seriously, and Bullock is such a class act.
Bullock also said that she wants things to get back to normal and claimed: "One, I'm not dead. Two, everyone has cellulite, not just me. Paparazzi need more flattering lenses. And whoever established the high road and how high it should be should be fired."
Did you enjoy Bullock's acceptance speech? Are you rooting for her like the rest of America and the free world?
