Chop Shop/Atlantic recording group Scars on 45 have announced plans to release their debut EP, dubbed Give Me Something. The four-song collection was self-produced by the Bradford, England-based quintet and will be available at all DSPs on January 18th. Check it out next Tuesday.
The title track of the Give Me Something EP is Scars on 45's first single and will also be featured on the band's forthcoming debut album, expected out later this year. "Give Me Something" is set to impact at Triple-A radio on January 18th. A companion music video was shot in Los Angeles and is currently in its final edit stage. The EP also features "Loudest Alarm," a b-side from the album recording sessions, and an acoustic performance of the album track "Don't Say." The collection is rounded out with a newly recorded song, "The Way That We Are."
The band recently completed their first-ever U.S. tour, supporting One Eskimo on a run of dates in late 2010. Scars on 45 are finalizing their touring plans for 2011, but are already set to perform at the Sunset Sessions in San Diego, CA which takes place February 17th through 19th.
