Scorpions to be Inducted into Hollywood's Rock Walk

Longtime German rockers The Scorpions are going out in style. The band, who have announced their retirement from recording with the release of their seventeenth (!) album, Sting in the Tail, which came out yesterday, will be inducted into Hollywood’s Rock Walk on Tuesday, April 6, at noon local time. The band will be honored by fans with a special ceremony at Hollywood’s Guitar Center.
In addition to having their talented hands immortalized in the handprints at the Rock Walk, where they will join legends like Eric Clapton, Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, the band will embark on a three-year, five-continent tour, after which they will say Sayonara and retire completely. They're going to go big and then go home for good. Hey, after 35 years of Kraut (hard) rock, the Scorps will finally get some rest. And they've earned it. At this point, they're old dudes and they've seen a million faces and rocked 'em all. We don’t blame 'em for putting the band to bed in the most relevant of ways. Do you wish The Scorpions would keep going and release an eighteenth album?
