In a chat with MTV on Tuesday night, R&B star Sean Kingston revealed that he underwent three life-saving operations following his jet ski crash which took place in Miami over the Memorial Day weekend. Kingston also revealed that he was rushed back into surgery just before his planned release from hospital. Kingston was in the weeds and in the woods for quite some time after the accident.
Kingston also underwent open-heart surgery after the crash and spent nearly a month in hospital recovering. He was discharged in late June, but not before one final surgery.
Kingston, 21, revealed he was about to leave the hospital when he felt a "shocking pain" and medics rushed him back into the surgery.
He said, "They were gonna send me home, but then I had felt a pain in my left chest, and I told my mom. They rushed me and they did a lot of scans on me, (and) they said I couldn't leave."
He really opened up about what he went through, saying, "A lot of people don't know it was a deeper situation. I had open-heart surgery and I had two other surgeries; it was a life-or-death situation."
Even after all this physical pain and suffering, Kingston is a man undeterred and he plans to get back up on the horse, er, jet ski again. "I'm definitely going to be jet-skiing again. I have to overcome my fear. It wasn't the jet ski, it was not knowing the area."
Well, at least Kingston admits that it was more human error than mechanical.
Do you think Sean Kingston should give up jet skiing permanently or do you applaud his decision to conquer his fear?
