See the Music: Far East Movement "Dirty Bass"
Mon, 02 Jul 2012 07:21:59
ARTISTdirect.com sat down with those uber talented chaps in Far East Movement. This is not our first go-round with the boys, but it's always entertaining to do it up with them. For this installment of our ever-popular See the Music series, we didn't just talk about the group's latest smash "Dirty Bass" or even the "L.A. Bass" sound. We spoke about more critical issues, like who has the heaviest chain. It's all about sonics and style, baby.
FEM's Prohgress spoke about his chain, saying that it is a functional piece. It can double as a coaster; a mirror for when you want to check yourself out before a photo shoot (at places like ARTISTdirect's studio); or if you are bored and want to toss a Frisbee. It's nothing if not aerodynamic.
Kevnish's "L.A. Bass" necklace is looked upon as a weapon. He can't perform with it, it has edges and when he swings, it can cut his bandmates up like crazy. Be careful with that thing!
