In the latest installment of our exclusive See the Music series, ARTISTdirect.com sat down with Jay Sean to discuss his jam, "Sex 101." He gives us an education about the tune.
The song, featuring Tyga, is a sexy jam with a sense of humor.
"When I write these love songs or these sex jams, I don't want to be crass or the girl to be like, 'Blah, that's disgusting,'" Jay Sean told us.
"It's my personality out there. It's me on every single song. My approach to sexy jams and more sort of tongue-in-cheek songs is to be more playful."
It's all about balance and that's what Jay Sean achieves on a bedroom banger like "Sex 101."
He wants to represent himself in the best and sexiest possible way.
Mission accomplished.
