    What's better than FREE?

Vans, one of our fave sneaker and lifestyle brands, has shared the lineups for July and August's Vans House Parties, which are Brooklyn's annual free summer concert series produced in partnership with FYF.

Free music is good. Free, good music is better. Free, good, live music is the best.

The new dates feature headlining shows from Future Islands, The Black Lips, Gorilla Biscuits, Holy Ghost, Omar Souleyman, The Bouncing Souls, Mas Ysa, and more. This announcement comes as The House of Vans prepares for the first House Party of the summer, a double bill featuring fiery soul singer Charles Bradley and goofball savant Mac DeMarco, with special guest Benjamin Booker. That show will be followed by a summery show featuring STRFKR, Poolside and Chrome Sparks on June 19. Each show is free with RSVP at vans.com/houseofvans. Full lineups below.

    Vans House Parties Schedule:

6/12 – Charles Bradley, Mac Demarco, Benjamin Booker - (Sold-Out)
    6/19 – STRFKR, Poolside, Chrome Sparks - (Sold-Out)
7/3 – The Black Lips, Nightbirds, Special Guest - (RSVP opens today at 12PM EST)
7/10 – Gorilla Biscuits, The Bouncing Souls, Special Guest
8/7 – Future Islands with Omar Souleyman, and Mas Ysa
8/14 – Holy Ghost!, Kim Ann Foxman, Dave P

Vans House Parties are a cornerstone of New York's summer concert landscape, with shows selling out within hours of their announcement.

This is the critical intel: All shows are free with RSVP, open to the public of all ages and held at the House of Vans (25 Franklin St.), a 25,000 square foot renovated warehouse in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Doors for all shows will open at 7PM, but the organizers suggest early arrival to ensure entry.

Anyone in NYC or the outer boroughs plan to take in these FREE events?
