Think you have the skills to remix Seether? Great, we have a contest that you need to know about.
Platinum rockers Seether are teaming up with online musical collaboration community Indaba Music to offer fans the opportunity to remix the song "Tonight" off their new album Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray. The album was released on Wind-up Records on May 17th and debuted at #2 on Billboard's Top 200. "Tonight" is the second single from the album following the #1 radio smash "Country Song." Seether have been a mainstay on the road in support of Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray and will continue touring as part of the Uproar Festival which kicks off on August 26th.
That said, Indaba Opportunities offer musicians a variety of ways to apply their talents, including remixing tracks by well-known artists or submitting original work. Competition winners can earn rewards including internet airplay, inclusion on remix compilations, cash prizes and more.
Remixers of "Tonight" can submit their track anytime through July 19th. Public voting will begin on July 19th and run for two weeks -- the end date is August 2nd. The Grand Prize winner will be announced on August 30th and the prize pack includes:
• Track placement on an official remix EP (digital release only)
• $1000 cash
• Seether merch pack with the entire Seether catalogue
• One-year supply of Rockstar Energy Drinks
• Rockstar travel bag and wakeboard
