A set of 65 unpublished color photographs of The Beatles during their 1964 U.S. tour, which was a sold out affair, will be auctioned off in England on March 22.
The images will be sold along with the copyright and are expected to fetch upwards of $20,000.
According to the NME, the photographs were taken by physicist Robert Beck. He died in 2002 and left a large archive of photographs and slides in his home in L.A. Most color photographs of the band in the U.S. did not appear until later in 1965. So these are a piece of history.
If you had the means, what would you bid on these photos? Keep in mind that owning the copyright means you could make future earnings from 'em.
