Sex Pistols Reunite For One Night

They say you should never put off seeing friends because you never know when they'll be gone. A couple of legendary UK acts seem to be taking this sentiment to heart. First we heard news that Led Zeppelin were coming together for one night to honor legendary music executive Ahmet Ertugen, but now the Sex Pistols are regrouping for a one off gig with no honoree in sight. It's almost like singer Johnny Rotten thought, "Well, if Robert Plant can do it, then so can I!" It doesn't matter though, punk needs no explanation.
The Sex Pistols will perform together on November 8 at the Brixton Academy, where member Sid Vicious is sure to be missed. This will be the band's first time on a hometown stage since 2002. Why only a London show? Says frontman Rotten, "Maybe it's because we're all Londoners, but there would be no Sex Pistols without dear old London town." The show coincides with the 30th anniversary reissue of their seminal single "God Save The Queen." Tickets go on sale September 21 at 9AM, GMT.
