Sex Pistols will re-release their 1977 masterwork, the controversial God Save the Queen.

The release drops May 28 and marks the 35th Anniversary since the track first came out. Originally released on May 27, 1977, during the Queen's Silver Jubilee, it caused a controversy upon arrival. The BBC, among others, refused to play it!

The band will also issue a limited edition 7" inch picture disc of their first ever single "Anarchy In the UK" for Record Store Day on April 21.

What is your favorite punk rock album ever?
