Grammy-winning, dance music icon Sharam has remixed Shakira's Official FIFA World Cup song, "Waka Waka." The DJ has applied his unique touch to Shakira's original, transforming it into a dance floor anthem worthy of a World Cup winner, complete with his signature sound and African-style drums. Take a listen to the link below – you will be shaking your ass thanks to the tribal percussion and infectious rhythms.

Shakira said, "Sharam has brought a unique spin to his interpretation of 'Waka Waka.' He has brought the song to the dance floor. This is one of those artistic collaborations that makes perfect sense." The song is already in the hands of the world's top DJs and will be released later this month.

"Anyone who knows me will tell you I am a sports buff and the FIFA World Cup is the biggest sporting event in the world. To work on the official song is a landmark achievement for me, something I've dreamt about doing since making music became a part of my life. I have always admired Shakira's unique twist on pop music and when she asked me to remix 'Waka Waka,' I didn't hesitate," said Sharam in an official statement.
