Sheryl Crow has come out in support of her ex-fiancé Lance Armstrong after he was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles due to lingering accusations that he used PEDs (performance enhancing drugs) while he was actively cycling.

Armstrong never admitted to taking PEDs nor did he fail any drug tests, but he allowed himself to be stripped of his titles because the fight was taking his focus away from his cancer foundation.

While Crow no longer speaks to Armstrong, she came out in his defense and said, "He's someone I really care about… I know how hard he worked to win those titles and it was hard to watch. I felt bad for him, I felt bad for his family…He's a hero that we've watched for a long time and admired. I don't see him, but knowing him, I have to imagine that the fact that he just said, 'Look, take them.' He's probably tired of the whole fight."

    We don't blame him.

Armstrong means a lot of things to a lot of people thanks to his cancer activism. And he never failed a drug test, so the fact that he just gave up on the fight does not indicate guilt. He had more important things to do, like fight cancer. Fuck cancer.

Do you believe that Lance Armstrong took PEDs?
