The Rupert Murdoch-owned UK tabloid The News of the World has acknowledged eavesdropping on the voicemails of public figures like actress Sienna Miller and has said that it will pay compensation for an unspecified number of "justifiable claims," reports The Associated Press. The paper apologized for the security breach, but that's not good enough for Miller.
A lawyer for Miller, who is one of several celebrities suing the paper for its unethical practice, said the actress has not dropped her lawsuit against The News of the World, which she accuses of "outrageous violations of privacy." We can't say we blame her for being really effing pissed.
What compensation should Miller seek?
