Multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning artist Lady Gaga and Skype have confirmed that Skype has come on board as an official sponsor for the Born This Way Ball world tour, giving fans new and unique ways to share their concert experiences, connect with Gaga, and celebrate the Ball.
Gaga is one of the most digitally-minded stars of the modern age, so to partner with Skype makes complete and total sense.
How will it work? Well, Skype's mobile apps will allow Little Monsters to share their own special moments and memories from the Born This Way Ball world tour with the people they care about, wherever they are.
Skype users will get exclusive access to Lady Gaga and her tour via LiveNation and a website they've developed specifically for her tour, www.skypeball.com. Fans attending the concerts will have the chance to share video messages with both Lady Gaga and their own contacts via Skype video booths at concerts, interview fellow Little Monsters on the Skype Blue Carpet at each venue, and share their photo and video moments from the tour via Skype. Skype will even give a few lucky fans the chance to participate in a video call with Mother Monster herself.
