In remembrance of two '70s era icons who passed away last week, Slacker Radio is launching seperate, dedicated tribute stations to both Robin Gibb of Bee Gees and to Donna Summer.
In remembrance of Robin Gibb, Slacker Radio has created a tribute station dedicated to the Bee Gee and his legacy. Curated by Slacker's Disco programmer Doug Daniels, the Robin Gibb Tribute station showcases the Bee Gees, music that inspired the group and songs that were influenced by them.
The Robin Gibb Tribute station can be found in Slacker's "Spotlight" station category, and at this direct link.
On this station, you'll hear a comprehensive look at Robin Gibb's musical DNA -- from the late 1950s through his most recent solo work. You'll hear all the great Bee Gees hits, all of his collaborations and duets, and songs from both the artists that influenced him and the generations of musicians that he directly inspired.
The Donna Summer tribute station is here.
On this station, you will hear Donna Summer's greatest hits, deeper tracks from her vast body of work, collaborations that she was featured on, artists that influenced her and the generations of musicians that she directly inspired. The Disco Queen lives on.
Will you tune into both stations? Have a favorite Bee Gees or Donna Summer tune?
