Snoop Dogg has been banned in the Netherlands. The rapper, known for his love of marijuana, which is legally sold in the country, is being prevented from performing at a free concert in The Hague on June 27. The mayor of the Dutch city, public prosecutors and the police have asked organizers of the Parkpop festival, which is the largest in Europe, to replace Snoop Dogg "in order to be able to guarantee the open and friendly character and free admission of Parkpop." In order to guarantee the open and friendly character and free admission? WTF does that mean? How does Snoop affect the free admission? And how is he closed and unfriendly? That seems like a bunch of political speak that doesn't do much to explain why they are stepping in and preventing Snoop from rocking the Dutch people! Snoop has many Dutch stamps in his passport, as he visits the country and its weed 'n' hash-selling coffee shops often. He usually performs in The Netherlands at least once a year, as well. So what is the fucking problem? No one really knows. "This is all very annoying that the headliner is being removed from the programme 10 days before the event," a spokeswoman for organizer Ducos Productions told ANP-Reuters.

Do you think Snoop is being unfairly targeted?
