Play the self-described sewer-punk really loud!
We're sending you into your weekend with a big ol' chunk of stormy noise! We're premiering bbigpigg's new song "Chowtime." Their name may be odd and slightly head-scratching in nature. But there music is anything but confounding. It's nasty, it's aggressive, it's in your face and it'll knock your block off. It's a clinic in deliciously scuzzy dissonance, scraped off the floor.
Just like noise rock fans like it.
The Brooklyn noise rock x art rock band is releasing its new EP Din Din next week, July 24. But it has nothing to do with stuffing your face. The four-pieces traffics in distorted, cage-rattling and guitar-driven, garage-reared noise.
"Chowtime" is as raw as a slab of meat on a butcher's block. The guitar work sounds like a turntable, similar to Tom Morello's mastery.
It's pulverizing track, so much so that you're going to need a cat nap after listening to it. With the knobs turned all the way to the right.
The production is minimal and that only adds to the song's charm.
Think Rage Against the Machine going mano y mano with Arab on Radar in a street fight and that should give you good indication of what "Chow Time" sounds like.
