Atlanta rapper is ready for the crown. You might say he'd be "Comfortable" with it.
K Camp really brought the heat this summer with "Comfortable." It's the latest single from his forthcoming debut album, Only Way Is Up [Family Ties Entertainment/Interscope], out Friday, September 4, 2015. Listening to the track, it's no wonder why he's attracted titans such as Snoop Dogg, T.I., French Montana, Yo Gotti, Fetty Wap, and Bun B to join the party with features on the upcoming full-length.
Atlanta's such a hotbed right now. It might even be hotter than ever with everybody from Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan to Future and Migos as turned up as possible when it comes to delivering groundbreaking hits. However, K Camp kicks it old school—just enough. "Comfortable" could've come right out of the nineties in terms of production, but he adds a modern spark to it, bringing incendiary infectiousness to the hooks and pure fire to the bars. He can rap with the best of them, but he can also lay back on a refrain you won't be able to shake. It's that inimitable cross-section that makes him stand out. It's also what will make him a superstar. He's headed Up as fast as possible.
