The Recording Academy has announced the newest additions to its Grammy Hall Of Fame collection, which honors recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old. The list of new inductees meeting this criteria is impressive and includes The Beatles' "Penny Lane"; The Jackson 5's "I'll Be There"; The Marvelettes' "Hey Mr. Postman"; Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again"; and Prince & The Revolution's "Purple Rain."
What are your thoughts on each of the songs selected to the Grammy Hall of Fame this year? Prince is one of my ALL TIME faves and "Purple Rain" is easily one of his best songs, so I am happy to see this selection tot the Grammy HOF.
