Spiderwick Chronicles Director Accepts Minimum Wage
Director Mark Waters, who helmed The Spiderwick Chronicles and Mean Girls, is set to direct Minimum Wage, a comedy for Participant Media. The film will follow a corrupt corporate executive who bankrupts the company he works for. The man is eventually convicted of fraud and, as punishment, is sentenced to spend a year working a minimum wage gig.Participant Media will also release The Soloist later this year.
