Spinal Tap Confirm ‘Unwigged & Unplugged’ Tour

Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer of Spinal Tap and such Guest films as A Mighty Wind and Best In Show have announced an “Unwigged & Unplugged” tour. Aside from tackling movie tunes, the trio plans on performing a few “special surprises [with some] rarities thrown in.”

"With this being the 25th Anniversary of the film This is Spinal Tap, we thought this would be fun and, at the same time, a little challenging, as we have never performed as ourselves," they said in a press statement. "Think of the evening as three old friends jamming in your living room. As opposed to our living rooms; we won't be home."

“Unwigged & Unplugged” runs between an April 17 stop in Vancouver and a May 31 gig in Milwaukee.
