Multiple sources report that five people are dead and about 40 more were injured after high winds caused the collapse of a mobile stage at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Saturday as crowds waited to see country duo Sugarland perform. Singer Sara Bareilles had just wrapped her set and fans were waiting for the country pair to take the stage.
"We are all right," Sugarland tweeted in response. "We are praying for our fans, and the people of Indianapolis. We hope you’ll join us. They need your strength."
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people were killed and injured as a result of this tragedy.
