Static-X frontman Wayne Static will embark on a string of dates this fall in support of his first solo album, Pighammer. The "Hammer" drops on Oct. 4 on Dirthouse Records. Static will be accompanied by special guests Eye Empire, KYNG, One Eyed Doll and Gemini Syndrome on the trek.
The bearded singer will play select tracks off the new album as well as some favorites from the Static-X catalog. "I can't wait to get on stage again," said Static. "It's been far too long! I know everyone is curious as to what the new show will be like and it's going to be even a bigger party than before with some fun surprises. I have an awesome new touring band that includes some of the best players in LA. We'll be doing plenty of shots on stage, playing some new songs off Pighammer, and of course playing a ton of classic Static-X songs. Let the Evil Disco party begin!" A handful of dates for the Evil Disco party have been announced and they kick off Sept. 27 in Sacramento and run through Oct. 10 in Los Angeles.
