Stephen Chow No Longer Directing Green Hornet
Stephen Chow is no longer scheduled to direct Columbia's The Green Hornet, which is due on screens in 2010. The actor bowed out due to "creative differences," but will stay on the project and play the sidekick Kato as initially planned, despite choosing not to helm the film.Columbia and producer Neal Moritz are working to replace Chow immediately so the spring start date can continue on schedule. The Seth Rogen/ Evan Goldberg script is expected to be polished before the film begins production. Rogen will star as The Green Hornet and his alter ego and is continuing to lose weight for the part.
