CartSteve Vai Not Interested in Supergroup

Guitar god Steve Vai isn't very interested in joining a supergroup. He's an island unto himself, so to speak.
He told VH1 Classic Radio, "Nah, it's not my thing. You know, I used to feel pretty adamant that it wasn't my thing but I guess I'm loosening up a bit. Every day, more and more, I come to the understanding that, you know, 'Hey, don't shut out anything that has a potential. So the answer I guess is, 'Meh, I'm not looking for it but if something came that made a lot of sense and just made me go, 'Aha, that would be cool,' then I'll do it but, I did it. You know, I did it. I was with some of these great, cool rock bands of the '80s and I got to live that rock star life and I'm done."
