The Stone Foxes Videos
As a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, listening to the Stone Foxes truly hits close to home. With songs like, “Mercury”, “Patience”, and “Sweep a Road”, the SF based rock and roll band is known for their polished ability to cultivate a balance of blues, country and garage rock to create pure, simple and raw rock and roll. Songs like “Fever” and “I Killed Robert Johnson” are infused with psychedelic and explorative chord progressions coupled with bluesy crooning leaving one reminiscing about bands like Jethro Tull and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
The Stone Foxes are slated to drop their sophomore album Bears & Bulls on July 6, but until then ARTISTdirect.com is hooking you up with a free stream and download of one of my favorite Stone Foxes tracks, “I Killed Robert Johnson” here.
