You know, comic books are geek chic, so uncool that they really are cool. But when they are about rock bands and rock figures, they are even cooler!

The Beatles onetime manager Brian Epstein is as important as the Fab Four itself, so that is why Epstein will see his story told in comic book form. The comic is titled The Fifth Beatle.

Epstein managed The Beatles in the 1960s, so he is a big part of their history and lore.

Vivek J Tiwary, who also wrote the Green Day musical American Idiot, will pen the comic, and he told The Wall Street Journal, "I could really relate to a lot of the struggles Brian had. Telling his story is a very passionate labor of love for me."

Tiwary wanted to work in artist management, so that is why this story is of particular personal importance to him. He said, "I wanted to manage bands. I thought, 'If I'm going to manage bands, I should study the great artist managers.'"

Will you read The Fifth Beatle?
